Generate a SCIM token in Pulse
Pulse issues a per-workspace bearer token and a SCIM 2.0 base URL from the directory settings screen.

Add the SCIM app in Okta
Point Okta's provisioning at Pulse's SCIM endpoint with the bearer token. Pulse's in-app instructions walk through the exact Okta screens.

Assign people and push
Assign users or groups to the app in Okta. Creates, updates, and deactivations flow to Pulse from then on — no manual people admin.
Common questions
What happens to equipment when someone is offboarded?
When Okta deactivates the person, Pulse marks them inactive and flags everything checked out to them for return. The gear shows up on your radar instead of disappearing with the departure.
Is this real SCIM or a polling sync?
Real SCIM 2.0 — Okta pushes creates, updates, and deactivations to Pulse's SCIM endpoint as they happen, authenticated with a per-workspace bearer token.
Do manual changes and SCIM conflict?
No. Deactivating a person manually in Pulse and deactivating them via Okta run through the same path with the same side-effects, so the two never diverge.
Does Pulse work with other identity providers?
The endpoint is standard SCIM 2.0, so Entra ID, JumpCloud, and OneLogin work as well. Okta is where the setup instructions are most detailed today.
